Les 13 Lunes is a tiny little biodynamic winery situated in Savoie, at the foot of the French alps. In this picturesque setting, Anne and Sylvain Liotard make boutique natural wines only from grape varieties indigenous to the region.
One of these varieties is the Jacquère in this wine. While it’s the most widely planted variety in Savoie, elsewhere it is virtually non-existent and therefore largely unknown to the rest of the world. As Anne and Sylvain intended, this wine is a snapshot of this particular vintage in Savoie, capturing the essence of a time and a place.
